Which women's races are there in Austria?
The Austrian Women's Run in Vienna is one of the world's best-known women's runs. This event has been taking place for more than 30 years and by now more than 35,000 women are active every year in spring in the Prater Hauptallee. There is a 10 km as well as a 5 km race. For the short distance, top international runners are invited, as well as the fastest runners from Austria. Other women's races in major cities will also be held in Graz, Linz, Salzburg, St. Pölten and Innsbruck.
On the other hand, the ladies can enjoy a great panorama at the Bodensee Frauenlauf with start and finish in Bregenz. The event has already attracted 5,000 female runners. The finish line is at the Bodensee Stadium in Bregenz. Things get really dirty at the Muddy Angel Run - a mud run just for women. On the 5 km long course, one or the other mud obstacle lurks in wait for the participants.
Nordic walkers can also take part in most of the events.
