The second day of the World Athletics Indoor Championships 2026 offers a special treat: the 3000 metres races for men and women will be held as direct finals in the evening. No heats, no tactical games beforehand – it all comes down to the big showdown. The Arena Torun will become the stage for a thrilling contest of pace, courage, and the perfect finish.
Sunday: Pentathlon and relay fireworks
On the final day, the women’s pentathlon takes centre stage. Five disciplines, one queen – and plenty of drama. The weekend’s grand finale will be the 4x400 metres relays for men and women. Anyone who still has reserves left by then can expect a roaring stadium and gripping duels right down to the last metre.

Since 1987, these indoor championships have been making history. At the 21st edition, more than 500 athletes from around 120 teams are once again expected. Six sessions packed with finals will make sure no fan gets even a single break from the excitement.
