The 2024 World Indoor Championships will be held at the Emirates Arena from March 1 to March 3, 2024. The competition will start on the first day with the women's pentathlon in the morning.
The women's shot put final will also be held on the same day. In the evening, the first champions will be crowned on the track in the men's 60m final.
On Saturday evening, the direct finals of the 3000-meter disciplines will take place, which will allow athletes to participate in the 1500-meter and 3000-meter double if they wish. The men's heptathlon will begin on Saturday and conclude on Sunday evening.
The championships will conclude on the final evening with the men's and women's 1500-meter races. In a change from tradition, the 4x400-meter relays will be held earlier in the event.
Following the programs of the last three editions, these championships will feature direct finals in the field events, and medalists will be determined in all six sessions.
The World Indoor Championships, which were established in 1987, will be held in Glasgow for the 19th time.
