Calgary Running: High Altitude and Rocky Mountain Gateways

Running in Calgary, the gateway to the Canadian Rockies, presents a dual challenge: runners must contend with the city’s high altitude (over 1,000 meters) and a course profile that uses the natural undulations of the river valley.
