Rock 'n' Roll Denver Half Marathon

Elite runners and fast times aside, Sunday's races were all about the party atmosphere.

Several local bands, including at the New Ben Franklins, Lee & Co. Face the Music, and Adam Lopez performed live on improved band stages along the route interspersed with cheerleaders and themed water stations. Participants moved along to more music than ever with all new mile-markers that included speakers while taking in the local scenery and city streets packed with spectator support.

With the health and safety of our community being an utmost priority, and in alignment with local authorities in relation to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Half Marathon originally scheduled for October 17-18 cannot take place in 2020. We also regret to advise that after evaluating the future viability of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Half Marathon, we have concluded that we cannot operate the event in 2021. Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series officials will continue to evaluate options for possible future events in the region. All registered participants of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver will be receiving an email with further information.

In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time globally, we recognize that this will come as a disappointment. We thank the city, all athletes, volunteers, and partners for their contributions to the event over the years and look forward to providing our participants with an exceptional experience at a future Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series event.
